Dr. Jennifer Schirner, O.D.

Dr. Jennifer Schirner graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2006. She then attended optometry school in Chicago at the Illinois College of Optometry and graduated in 2010 with honors. Her externship training began at the Illinois Eye Institute where she studied specialty contact lens fitting at the Cornea Center for Clinical Excellence. It was then that she discovered her passion for specialty contact lens fitting. Her interests include scleral lenses, orthokeratology and myopia management.

Being the first person in her family to be near-sighted, she knows personally the challenges that come with being near-sighted. She would have loved the opportunity for myopia control programs when she was a kid and wants to provide that option to your children.

Although Dr. Jennifer Schirner was raised in Wisconsin, she is proud to call Texas home. She and her husband moved to Flower Mound over 10 years ago and enjoy the community with their two children.

Dr. Chad A Schirner, O.D.

Dr. Chad A. Schirner attended Weber State University for his undergraduate studies in Utah. He earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 2010.

Prior to optometry school, Dr. Chad Schirner was certified by the American Board of Opticianry. He now has close to 30 years of experience in the optical industry. Previously as an optician, he was involved in all aspects of eyewear fabrication and took pride in the ability to customize the final product for his patients. After seeing how well-received he was by his patients and how knowledgeable he became as an optician, it was suggested to him that he should take the next step in his career and become an optometrist. He looks forward to being able to provide the very best eyewear selections, recommendations and final product to his patients due to his unique optical background.

Dr. Chad Schirner’s interests include watching sports, visiting local restaurants and spending time with his wife and kids. He and his wife are happy to call Flower Mound home, but he was born and raised in Southern California. He has lived in Utah, Chicago and Wisconsin before finally settling in Texas. He was been a Dallas Cowboys fan since he was very young and is glad to finally live among the Cowboys fanbase!
