Clear Vision for Your Swimmer
NO GLASSES. NO CONTACTS.
NO PRESCRIPTION LENSES.
Give your child the freedom to swim, compete, and live actively with
Ortho-K—overnight lenses that
provide clear vision all day.
What is Ortho-K?
Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) uses custom-designed lenses worn overnight to gently reshape the eye while your child sleeps. In the morning, the lenses come out—and your child enjoys clear, natural vision all day long. Even better, Ortho-K has been shown to slow, and sometimes stop, the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in children.
Why Swim Parents Love Ortho-K

NO LOST LENSES
MID-SWIM
No more worrying about contacts floating out during dives or flip turns.

Yes. Ortho-K is FDA-approved and widely used for children. With proper hygiene and follow-up care, it is considered very safe.
-
Most kids notice improvement within 1–3 nights, with full results in about 1–2 weeks.

Ortho-K lenses aren’t painful, but they can feel a little unusual at first—similar to how braces feel when you first get them. It’s a new sensation, so kids may notice the lenses for the first few nights.
That said, most of the initial awareness is simply because the lenses are unfamiliar—not because they hurt.
We recommend putting the lenses in right before bed, so as your child falls asleep with their eyes closed, the lenses quickly become barely noticeable. Most kids adjust within just a few days and don’t think twice about them after that.
-
Yes. Ortho-K lenses are designed to be worn overnight, including during your normal bedtime routine—reading, relaxing, or winding down. While you are wearing them, you may notice that your vision becomes slightly blurry or changes as the cornea is gently reshaped. This is completely expected and part of how the treatment works. Once the lenses are removed in the morning, they temporarily correct your vision so you can see clearly throughout the day without glasses or contact lenses.
-
The effects are temporary. Vision will gradually return to its original prescription if lenses are discontinued.
-
Children as young as 7 years old can be great candidates, especially with parent support.
